Yesterday, I posted “Floating upwards from history: Salman Rushdie, Shame (1983)” in Talk about books. The post appeared on the web and in the RSS feed, but because of a glitch the email didn’t go out. (Or at least I didn’t get it.) Micro.blog has a new feature that allows me to customize the email template. I had been playing around with that and broke something — I’m still not exactly sure what. I hope to have sorted it out before the next post goes out in 10–14 days’ time. (That post is going to be about Scott Turow.)
