Red Rock West, mentioned in the first sentence of Zach Schonfeld’s elegy for Netflix’s DVDs by Mail service, is the film that finally persuaded me that I liked Cage’s acting after all. Coincidentally, I was reminded of it the other day. Still my favourite film of his 🍿
